Biography

Maximilian Moll obtained his Ph.D. summa cum laude in 2018 under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Stefan Pickl focusing on combining deep Reinforcement Learning and System Dynamics. Before that, he did an internship with IBM Research in Dublin, Irland, after obtaining both his Master of Mathematics (2015) and Bachelor of Arts (2014) at the University of Cambridge. In 2012 he was awarded the membership of the esteemed Collegium Divi Johannis Evangelistae. His teaching responsibilities include lectures on Data Mining and Modern Algorithms. His research is now turning to combinations of classical OR and machine learning algorithms with new Quantum Computing approaches and their application to infrastructure security. Dr. Moll is with the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich.
